# Field management

> Manage fields centrally from each view's toolbar.

Manage fields centrally from each view's toolbar.

Note: in the gallery view this is called **Gallery settings**; in the kanban view it's **Card settings**.

## Reorder fields

Drag the handle in front of a field to reorder it in the view.

## Show/hide fields

Click the icon next to the field name to **show** or **hide** it in the current view.

## Add a field

Click + **Add field** at the bottom of the menu — quickly add a field.

## Manage fields

Click the icon next to a field — the menu offers: move to top, edit, [field grouping](/aitable/fields/field-grouping), delete.
