Use the AI Table **Phone** field to record phone numbers — and on **mobile**, tap to call or message in one click.

# Basics

## Add a phone field

**Grid view — add a phone field:**

1. Click + in the upper-right of the title bar.
2. Click "Field type".
3. Pick **Phone**.

To collect phone numbers in a form, open the form view in **edit mode** — pick Phone from the question list.

## Enter a phone number

Click a cell to type — the **phone format** is validated automatically.

## Call from mobile

On mobile, open AI Table, enter **record detail** — tap the icon next to the phone field to call or message.
