# Attendance appeals
> Learn about the appeal capability in DingTalk Attendance Security Enhanced Edition. After you enable Detect cheating and block clock-in, employees blocked by mistake can submit an appeal with a photo, and the clock-in takes effect once the admin approves it. Includes action paths for employees and admins.
Appeals are a capability of Attendance Security Enhanced Edition. After you purchase the Enhanced Edition and enable **Detect cheating and block clock-in**, any cheating clock-in is blocked. If an employee believes the block is a mistake, they can file an appeal. **Once the admin approves it, the clock-in takes effect.**
## Employee action path
After a clock-in is blocked, the employee taps **Appeal**, takes a photo, enters the reason for the appeal, and selects an admin to send it to.
## Admin action path
After receiving the card sent by the employee, tap **Handle** to open the details page, then **Accept** or **Decline** the appeal.
Go to **Attendance → Statistics → Anti-cheating → Appeal records** to view all appeal records, including pending and previously handled ones.
