# Rules for clock-in details statistics

> DingTalk attendance clock-in detail statistics rules: clarifies the inclusion and exclusion scope of the two metrics, Clocked In and Expected but Not Clocked In, to help admins accurately interpret attendance statistics.

The statistics rules for Clocked In and Expected but Not Clocked In in clock-in details are as follows.

## Clocked in

The total number of employees who actually clocked in on the day. This **includes**:

* Employees with a normal clock-in, field clock-in, late clock-in, early leave clock-in, or clock-in records that include a missed clock-in;
* Employees on leave, business trip, or out-of-office status who have clocked in;
* Employees who were not scheduled but have clocked in.

## Expected but not clocked in

The total number of employees who were required to attend on the day but did not clock in. This **includes**:

* Employees who were scheduled but did not clock in;
* Employees who did not clock in during a business trip or while out of office.

  The following cases are **excluded**: employees on all-day leave, rest, or not scheduled. If clock-in is not required for out-of-office or business trips, employees on all-day out-of-office or business trips are also excluded.
