# Create Departments

> Add a single department or build a multi-level hierarchy from the Admin Console—rename, reorder, or nest departments to mirror your real-world org chart.

Administrators can go to [Admin Console](https://oa.dingtalk.io) > Contacts > Department Management.

#### Create One Department

Click Add Department, enter the department name, and save.
