# Images: manage visual assets

> DingTalk Sheets image management: insert Cell Images that scale with the cell (supporting bulk upload) or Floating Images that hover freely and can be dragged to any position — covering both visual asset management and rich media data display.

In Spreadsheet, you can embed **Cell Images** within Cells, or insert **Floating Images** that hover above Cells. This helps you manage visual assets and present data in a more diverse and vivid way.

## Instructions

### Insert an Image

1. In the top navigation bar, go to **Insert** and select **Cell Image** or **Floating Image**. Alternatively, click **Image** in the toolbar and choose the image type from the drop-down menu.

2. After selecting an image, choose the one you want to upload from your local library and insert it into the Spreadsheet.

* **Insert Cell Image**: The image is embedded within the Cell. Its size adjusts as the Cell is resized, and batch upload is supported.

* **Insert Floating Image**: The image hovers above the Cell. Its size and position do not change with the Cell. You can only reposition or resize the image by selecting and dragging it with the mouse.

### View an Image

* Hover the mouse over a Cell Image or Floating Image. The cursor changes to "". Click the image to view it at its original size.

### Change the Image Type

* To convert a Cell Image into a Floating Image, right-click the selected image and choose **Convert to Floating Image** from the menu.

* The process for converting a Floating Image into a Cell Image is the same. Batch conversion from Floating Images to Cell Images is supported. By default, each image is inserted into the Cell where its **top-left corner is located**.
