# Auto-grouping by year and month for date filters in Spreadsheet

## Use case

Ding Sanduo is the asset manager at his company and uses DingTalk Spreadsheet daily to log asset check-in and check-out activities. Sometimes he needs to filter older check-in or check-out Records, and reviewing them one by one is highly time-consuming. With this feature, dates are automatically grouped by year and month when applying value filters in DingTalk Spreadsheet, making information filtering more convenient and efficient.

## Instructions

If the selected range contains data in date format, year and month dates are automatically aggregated in the filter panel.
