# Highlight selection

> Highlight the active row and column in Sheets to prevent misalignment when viewing large reports.

Highlight the active row and column to clearly show the position relationship between them, preventing misalignment when viewing large reports.

## Highlight selection

Select any cell in the Spreadsheet, then click **View > Highlight active row and column**. When you click any data in the Worksheet to view it, the row and column where the data is located will be highlighted in the **selected color** to avoid misalignment.

## How to cancel highlight selection

Click **Menu > View > Cancel highlight active row and column** at the top.
