# Delete a DingTalk Enterprise Mail Account

> Learn how admins delete the Enterprise Mail account linked to a member's DingTalk account and move its data to Account Recycle Bin or Shared Mailbox, without deleting the DingTalk account.

Follow these steps to delete an Enterprise Mail account linked to a DingTalk account.

> [!WARNING]
>
> This does not delete the **DingTalk account** itself.

## Procedure

**1. Open the member's information editor**

Sign in to the DingTalk admin console as an administrator. Go to **Directory > Members**. For the member whose email account you want to delete, click **More > Edit Information**.

**3. Choose where to transfer the data**

In the **Delete** dialog box, under **Transfer the email account and its data**, select **Account Recycle Bin** or **Shared Mailbox**, then click **OK**.

> [tab] Account Recycle Bin
>
> The email account and its data are moved to Account Recycle Bin. From there, you can restore the account or transfer its data. The account no longer counts toward the email account limit.

> [tab] Shared Mailbox
>
> The email account is moved to Shared Mailbox and displayed there. Its data remains in the account, and the account can continue sending and receiving emails. The account continues to count toward the email account limit.
