# Authorize the DingTalk Meetings Web App to Use Microphone, Camera, and Screen Sharing

## Authorize DingTalk Meetings Web to Use Microphone, Camera, and Screen Sharing

DingTalk Meetings Web requires both **system permission** and **browser permission** to use the microphone and camera. This guide explains how to enable browser permissions and system permissions.

## Browser Permission for Microphone and Camera

> Camera and microphone permissions are very similar. The examples below use microphone permission.

The steps below cover Edge, Chrome, and Safari. Other browsers can use similar settings.

### Edge

1. Click the icon on the left side of the browser address bar and select **Site permissions**.

2. Allow microphone and camera access, then refresh the page.

3. Refresh the DingTalk Meetings Web page.

### Chrome

Click the icon on the left side of the browser address bar and select **Site settings**.

Allow microphone and camera access, then refresh the page.

Refresh the DingTalk Meetings Web page.

### Safari

1. Click the Safari menu at the top and select settings for the current website.

2. Set microphone permission to **Allow**.

## System Permission for Microphone and Camera

> Camera and microphone permissions are very similar. The examples below use microphone permission.

If microphone or camera still cannot be used after browser permission is granted, system-level permission may not be enabled. Follow the relevant steps below and restart the browser if needed.

### Windows 10

1. Open **Settings** > **Privacy** > **Microphone**, click **Change**, and enable microphone access for this device.

2. Turn on **Allow apps to access your microphone** and **Allow desktop apps to access your microphone**.

### macOS

1. Open **Settings** > **Privacy & Security** > **Microphone**.

2. Find the app to authorize, such as Chrome, and turn on permission.

3. Restart the browser.

### iOS

Open **Settings** > **Privacy** > **Microphone**, then select the app that needs microphone permission, such as WeChat.

### Huawei Phones

Open **Settings** > **Privacy** > **Permission Manager** > **Microphone**. Make sure **Microphone** and **Allow apps to use microphone simultaneously** are enabled. Select the app to authorize, such as WeChat, and set it to **Allow only while in use**.

### Xiaomi Phones

Open **Settings** > **Privacy Protection** > **Microphone**, select the app to authorize, such as Chrome, and choose **Allow only while in use**.

### OPPO Phones

Open **Settings** > **Security** > **App Permissions** > **Microphone**, select the app to authorize, such as WeChat, and turn on permission.

### vivo Phones

Open **Settings** > **Privacy** > **Permission Manager** > **Microphone**, select the app to authorize, such as WeChat, and choose **Allow while using the app**.

### Other Phones

For other phone brands, the steps are similar: open **Settings** > **Privacy** or **Security** > **Permission Manager** > **Microphone**, select the app to authorize, and choose **Allow**.

## System Permission for Screen Sharing

### macOS Screen Sharing Permission

1. Open **Settings** > **Privacy & Security** > **Screen Recording and System Audio**.

2. Find the app to authorize, such as Chrome, and turn on permission.

3. Restart the browser.
