# Create a user-specific short link

> Call this API to generate a user-specific short link from user information; after the user joins a meeting via the link, client-side jsapi can retrieve the user's extension app custom information.

Create a user-specific short link based on user information. After a user joins the conference through the user-specific short link, the user can query the custom business information of the extension app through the client-side JSAPI.
