# Get space information

> Call this API to retrieve basic information of a DingTalk Drive storage space, such as capacity and configuration.

Call this API to get the information of a storage space.

## API call description

Call this API to get the details of a space, including the space name, used quota, owner type, and more.

* When the storage space type is USER, all users with permissions on the space have operation permissions. Other employees must call the [Add permissions](/open/development/add-permissions-file) API to be granted authorization.
* When the storage space type is APP, anyone who performs operations must call the [Add permissions](/open/development/add-permissions-file) API to be granted authorization.
