# Introduction to DingTalk Share

> An employee sees a great article on a social media app and wants to share it with an organization's DingTalk group. This scenario uses the Share SDK feature. To help you understand, we illustrate it with an interactive example:

## Use Cases

The example below shows an article in Alipay's "Life" section being shared with a DingTalk contact. The DingTalk contact can then open the shared content within DingTalk. The process of sharing from Alipay to DingTalk uses the Share SDK.

## Version Requirements

If the sharer's DingTalk version is earlier than 2.7, the sharer is prompted to upgrade DingTalk. After upgrading, they can share as normal.

If DingTalk is not installed on the sharer's phone, tapping Share to DingTalk prompts the sharer to download DingTalk.

* iOS: The sharer is directed to the App Store.
* Android: The sharer is directed to [http://www.dingtalk.com/index.html](http://www.dingtalk.com/index.html).

## Instructions

**Note**

DingTalk Share supports integration only for internal apps, not for third-party enterprise apps.

When your app needs to use DingTalk Share, first create an app in the [Developer Console](https://open-dev.dingtalk.com/#/shareMan) and configure the required settings before you can use DingTalk Share. For the detailed procedure, see the Integration flow.
