# Enabling and Disabling Apps

> This article explains how to enable and disable apps on the YiDA platform. It covers accessing My Apps from the workbench, opening App Settings, and selecting the Enable or Disable button on the app publishing page to manage app status.

After an app is created successfully in YiDA, it is enabled by default. To change the enabled or disabled status, go to the app publishing page and select the corresponding option.

## Disable an App

When an enabled app is no longer needed, you can disable it. In the disabled state, the app does not delete any submitted data — that data remains accessible and manageable on the data management page at any time. A disabled app can also be re-enabled at any time.

1. Sign in to the YiDA workbench and go to the My Apps page.

2. Select the app you want to disable, then click **···** > App Settings.

3. On the App Settings page, click App Publishing in the top menu bar.

4. Click the Disable button to complete the operation.

## Enable an App

To re-enable a disabled app, follow these steps.

1. Sign in to the YiDA workbench and go to the My Apps page.

2. Select the app you want to enable, then click **···** > App Settings.

3. On the App Settings page, click App Publishing in the top menu bar.

4. Click the Enable button to complete the operation.
