# Block Templates

> Access a rich library of page block templates, including public and private templates, to boost daily page design efficiency. Private block templates let you save specific areas as project-private templates for easy reuse.

## 1. Overview

A rich library of page block templates is available. Use them wisely and follow sound design patterns to significantly boost your daily page design efficiency.

## 2. Template Categories

### 2.1 Public Templates

YiDA provides public templates. See the animation below to configure them:

### 2.2 Private Block Templates

Private block templates let you save any area in the editor as a project-private template, so you can reuse it within the project at any time.

## 3. Notes

**3.1 Private blocks are shared within the same project, but remain invisible across projects.**

**3.2 To create a private block, click Create private block in the editor's action panel. A private block can be a single component or a group of components. Complex private blocks are typically built by wrapping components in an outer container.**

**3.3 Each time a private block is reused, it becomes an independent page structure and does not affect how it appears elsewhere.**

**3.4 A private block saves not only its layout and position, but also all component-related information, including component settings, internationalization, and actions.**

**3.5 The private block feature extends the copy-and-paste workflow, making simple reuse easier for users.**
