# CC Node

> The CC recipient has View Permission for the Approval form in the Approval process but does not participate in the Approval. Setting the visible Content of a CC node enables simple Permissions control. This applies when specific Users need to be aware of Approval form information without actually performing the Approval.

The CC recipient has permission to view the Approval form at their node, and you can also set the Form Content that the CC node can view, enabling some simple Permissions control.

<Note>
  CC nodes are not shown in the flow chain of the Approval form.
</Note>

**Use cases for CC nodes**: After an Approval process is initiated, the corresponding Users need to view or be aware of the Approval form, but no Approval is required.

The path to set the Form Content visible to CC recipients is as follows:

Click the corresponding workflow form > Workflow > Node Settings, as shown:

**For example**: A Team petty cash reimbursement system requires supervisor Approval and finance Approval (here the finance Role is configured so that Approval by any one finance User passes) for the reimbursement amount. After the supervisor Approval is Complete, a CC is sent as a Chats notification to designated Users. The full flow from designing the process to running the Approval is demonstrated below:
