# Permissions Settings

> This page describes how to configure initiation permissions, node field permissions (including editable, read-only, or hidden permission settings for approvers, handlers, and CC recipients), and global permission settings.

## Initiation Permissions

You can configure initiation permissions and Field permissions for the initiation page. Adjust the permission group to Redirect To the Settings page of the workflow form.

## Node Field Permissions

* Field permissions for approvers and handlers

Approver and handler nodes support three permission settings: **Edit**, **Read-only**, and **Hidden**.

* Field permissions for CC nodes: CC nodes support configuring the View Permission of CC recipients, with two options available: Read-only and Hidden.

## Global Permission Settings

Set the default Field permissions in view mode. Adjust the permission group to Redirect To the Settings page of the workflow form.
