# Create an App from a Template

> The YiDA Template Gallery offers a wide range of app templates for common enterprise needs, helping users quickly build apps that fit their requirements. This article walks you through creating an app from a template on the YiDA platform, including signing in, selecting a template, and enabling it.

This section walks you through the steps to browse the Template Gallery, pick a suitable template, and enable it to create your own app.

## **Prerequisites**

Before you build an app on the YiDA low-code platform, sign up for a DingTalk account. For details, see [Sign up for an account](https://alidocs.dingtalk.com/i/p/Y7kmbokZp3pgGLq2/docs/Mk5evdR04jBV5qZQRdyXVQL3x2OlParn).

## **Procedure**

1. Sign in to the YiDA workbench.

2. Click Template Gallery in the top menu bar.

3. In the filter bar in the middle of the page, select Quick start and Form, and then select the Online image generator template.

4. Click Enable Template. In the dialog box that appears, enter the app name, and then click Confirm.

After you enable the template, you are automatically redirected to the app's **Page management** page.

You have now created an app from a template. To edit the app, click the **Edit** button in the upper-right corner.
