To send messages with a custom bot, you need the bot’s webhook URL. Follow the steps in this document to obtain it.

Prerequisites

Complete the Create a custom bot process.

Steps

  1. Sign in to the DingTalk Client-side and open the target group chat.
  2. Click the Group settings icon in the upper-right corner.
  3. Click Group Management > Bots, and select the custom bot you created.
  4. Get the webhook URL.

Important

Keep this webhook URL secure. Do not publish it on external websites, as leaks pose security risks.
