To raise the confidentiality level of a document and prevent its content from being downloaded, copied, duplicated, or printed, the document Admin can enable the Leak prevention feature to keep the content secure.

How to enable

After Leak prevention is enabled for a document, copying, downloading, duplicating, and printing can be restricted for some or all users.

Scope of effect

Leak prevention can be enabled at the Knowledge Base, Folder, or individual Document/File level. The specific scope of effect after enabling is as follows (Note: “copying” here refers to copying, downloading, duplicating, and printing):
  • If Leak prevention is enabled for a Knowledge Base, no Documents or Files within the Knowledge Base can be copied.
  • If Leak prevention is enabled for an individual Folder, no Documents or Files within that Folder can be copied.
  • If Leak prevention is enabled for an individual Document, none of its sub-documents can be copied.
Special note: When Leak prevention is enabled for a Knowledge Base or Folder, if the Admin selects “Apply only to previewable content”, the restriction applies only to previewable Documents/Files. Non-previewable Content, such as .zip or .exe files, can still be downloaded to facilitate Collaboration.
