Today, organizational information and knowledge are scattered across work scenarios in various forms, including Group Chats, Direct Messages, Meetings, and projects. Achieving one-stop storage and efficient management of knowledge through a convenient approach has become a major challenge for organizations.
At the 2022 DingTalk Conference, Fu Xujun, Vice President of DingTalk and head of DingTalk Collaboration products, shared his vision: DingTalk Docs will center on information carriers, transforming fragmented information into structured knowledge to build a platform for knowledge creation and management, forging a digital garden for organizations.
Building on this vision, DingTalk Docs delivers a complete suite of capabilities for knowledge precipitation, organization, Discover, and Connect, helping organizations manage knowledge so that it can be aggregated comprehensively, organized systematically, and applied conveniently.
Build your organization’s digital garden one Document at a time, and let knowledge bloom. A Document is often made up of many fragmented pieces of information. With block-based technology, DingTalk Docs enables synchronized block references—edit once, and updates flow across multiple Documents. Every quoted fragment of knowledge can be traced back to its source, allowing you to understand the Context of its origin and form point-to-point, line-to-line, and surface-to-surface knowledge connections. In addition, inserting one Document into another as a Link establishes a Both-way Link reference between the two Documents. Through Both-way Links, the relationships among Documents are presented as a free-form, topological network. The Knowledge Base then organizes scattered Files into Folders, forming a Table of contents tree of knowledge. The tree supports unlimited Tier nesting and enables real-time organization and management through multi-user Collaboration.
Looking ahead, DingTalk Docs will further accelerate the expansion and accessibility of Content Collaboration in the Chinese market, enabling every organization to build its own dedicated digital garden.
