Use Auto fill in DingTalk Spreadsheet to quickly copy and fill cells based on the input rules of existing data. This feature helps you complete patterned cell data entry, ideal for scenarios such as content copying and sequential numbering.

How to use

  1. Select a range of cells that already contains some data. This serves as the data basis for auto fill.
  2. Hover your mouse over the bottom-right corner of the selected range. The cursor changes to a ”+” shape, known as the fill handle.
  3. Hold the fill handle and drag vertically or horizontally to fill the data into the blank cells in that direction.
  4. After releasing the fill handle, a fill options icon appears at the bottom-right corner of the filled area. Click it to choose: Copy cells, Fill series, Fill formatting only, or Fill without formatting.
