Use case

Ding Sanduo is a content operations specialist in the planning department who uses DingTalk Docs daily to edit various company materials, including promotional content, announcements, notifications, and administrative documents. With this feature enabled, spaces are automatically added between Chinese characters and adjacent English text or numbers, removing the need to proofread formatting one by one. This standardizes article formatting and reduces formatting review workload.

How to use

Click the top navigation bar, then select in the upper-right corner > Preferences > Assisted editing > DingTalk Docs > turn On Automatic spacing between Chinese and English. Once enabled, spaces are automatically added between Chinese characters and English text or numbers during editing.
