When collaborating with others on a document, you can leave comments on its content and @mention relevant people. Comment notifications are delivered in real time through Chats, making collaboration efficient and timely.

Instructions

DingTalk Docs supports both full-document comments and inline comments. You can comment on the entire document or on specific content within it.

Add a comment

Inline comment

Desktop: Select the text, click the Add comment button on the right, or press Ctrl+Shift+M (Mac: Cmd+Shift+M) to leave a targeted comment on the selected content. Comments appear in the blank area on the right side of the document. Mobile: Long-press to select text in the document, or swipe with your finger to select a paragraph, then tap the button below to add a comment.

Full-document comment

Scroll to the bottom of the document and enter your comment in the input field at the bottom of the page.

Reply to a comment

Click the Reply button next to a comment to reply to its content. The original commenter will receive a notification in DingTalk Chats.

Delete a comment

You can only delete your own comments, not those of others. To delete a sent comment, click ┇ in the upper-right corner of the comment, then select Delete comment.
