Inserting links is a common practice when editing documents. It helps readers quickly redirect to a specified location, saving reading time. Inserting links also expands the scope of knowledge a document can carry, and is typically used for introducing notable figures or explaining proper nouns. Select the location or target text where you want to insert the link, then click Link on the document toolbar. If the font color of the selected location or target text turns blue, the link has been inserted successfully.
To add a web link, click “Add web link” on the left to try out the Insert Link feature.
In the Insert Link dialog, you can set the title for the link and choose the link style: Link or Card. Click the location or text with the inserted link, then click Remove Link above.
