The initiation node is the starting point of a workflow. Every approval process has an initiation node by default. This node cannot be deleted. You can configure the form field permissions of the process initiator.

Modify Initiator Field Permissions

Follow the steps below to modify the form field permissions of the initiation node.

Step 1

Sign in to the YiDA workbench. Select the target app and go to the app’s Page management page.

Select the workflow form, click the inverted triangle next to Edit workflow form, and then click Workflow design.

Click the Initiation node, then select Field permissions

Configure the permissions for each form component. Three permission modes are supported: editable, read-only, and hidden

For example, to make the post-repair fields in the form invisible to the initiator, set the permission of the corresponding components to hidden.
  1. After completing the configuration, click Save.
After the permissions are set, the process initiator can no longer see the post-repair content when submitting the form.
