What it does

When the action is Send message to user or group, add buttons at the bottom of the card — recipients can open a link or trigger an automation directly from the message — making interaction faster.

How to use

Create an automation, set the trigger, then pick action Send message to user or group. Scroll to the bottom of the right panel and click Add button.

Configure the button

A button supports:
  • Label: custom text displayed on the button.
  • Style: Default, Primary, or Warning.
  • On click: Open link or Run automation.

Click action

Create record

Clicking creates a row. The link can be a hyperlink or include AI Table variables — fields, system variables, etc. You can mark the button as single-click only. Clicking opens a target page. The link can be a hyperlink or include AI Table variables — fields, system variables, etc. This option does not support single-click only.

Update record

Clicking updates a row in the table. You can mark the button as single-click only.

Run automation

Clicking triggers another automation. Constraints:
  • The bound automation’s trigger must be On button click.
  • The bound automation must be configured and turned on.

  • Q: Max number of buttons per card? A: 3.
  • Q: Why does the link open fail? A: The link must be a valid URL — invalid format causes failure.
