This topic describes the syntax, parameters, and usage of the FLOOR function to help you round numeric values down in your forms and workflows.

Supported Product Scenarios

The FLOOR function is supported in the following YiDA scenarios:

FLOOR(number,significance)

Attribute	Required	Description
number	Yes	The number to round down. Must be of number type.
significance	Yes	The specified base (multiple).

Return value type	Description
Numerical	The rounded-down value.

As shown in the figure below, use the FLOOR() function to round a number down.

Round down (toward increasing absolute value) to the nearest multiple of 3 of the specified base.
