Overview
The Group chat field lets you add one or more DingTalk groups to a record — users can join or open them in one click. Automations can also reference these groups to send messages. You can also create a group on the fly from the record itself, including its member fields — one record, one group — saving the effort of manually rounding people up. Common scenarios: Project collaboration: spin up a project group automatically based on the project’s members — let everyone join via a link. Customer follow-up: when tracking many customers, create per-customer groups for efficient communication and progress notes.Basics

Use group chats in automations
Step 1 — create a group via a button
Example: create a group for each store. Add filter conditions in the button: Configure group name, group type, members, and group field: Sync the new group ID into the Group chat field:Step 2 — notify the group when a record changes
When a store’s “Inspection result” field changes to “Failed”, send a notification to the group. For “Record changed”, pick the source table, fields to watch, and conditions to meet: For “Send to group”, set the sender, insert the group built in step 1 as a variable, and set the title and content:FAQ
