Add a text field

  1. Click + in the upper-right of the title bar.
  2. Pick Text.

Line break

While typing, press Shift + Enter to insert a line break.

Select a text cell — click the expand icon on the right to preview (or edit) long text. In a grid view, adjust row height and column width to show more text. Row height: click Row height on the toolbar — pick short / medium / tall / extra tall. Column width: drag the divider on the right of the column header. To resize multiple columns at once, hold Shift, click multiple column headers — then drag any selected column’s divider; all selected columns share the new width.

  • Q: Can I paste images into a text field? A: No. For mixed text + images, use Table as doc instead.
