When working on daily documents, you often need to share them with different team members for collaboration. The upgraded DingTalk Docs Share panel lets you quickly send documents to frequent contacts or group chats, making sharing more efficient. 💡 Available on: Desktop

You often need to grant document permissions to different people at work. DingTalk Docs supports enabling organization-wide access in one click, with configurable permissions, making document sharing within the organization both secure and efficient. 💡 Available on: Desktop

How to use: Open the document, select Share, then click “Make public within Alibaba Group”.

DingTalk Docs | Document search now supports filtering by creator

Advanced Search now lets you filter by “Creator” to quickly find documents created or edited by a specific person, improving search efficiency. 💡 Available on: Desktop

How to use: In Advanced Search, click “Creator” to find all documents created and edited by that person at once.

DingTalk Docs | Improved mobile search experience

The mobile search experience has been fully upgraded. You can now filter by document type, creator, sharer, and more to quickly find the documents you need.

DingTalk Docs | New Message notifications page on mobile

You can now view and handle document mentions, comments, and permission requests on your phone, enabling efficient document collaboration anytime, anywhere — even when you’re away from your computer. 💡 Available on: Mobile How to use: In the DingTalk Docs mobile app, go to the “Collaboration” tab and tap “Docs”.

Spreadsheet | Insert handwritten signatures

When using Spreadsheet to process payslips, expense reports, or other files that require online signature confirmation, you can insert a handwritten Signature to streamline your workflow. 💡 Available on: All four platforms How to use:
  1. Entry: Top bar > Insert > Signature.
  2. Draw your signature on the signature pad.
  3. The Signature behaves like a floating image — you can drag, resize, and embed it into a Cell.
(Note: This Signature is not an “electronic seal” and has no legal effect.)

Quick Meeting | Finalize Meeting Minutes with OA Approval

During Quick Meetings, you can initiate an OA Approval process directly from the Meeting Minutes to clarify meeting conclusions and reduce extra steps. 💡 Available on: Desktop

How to use: Click ”…” and choose Start Approval, fill out the form, send the Approval, select an approver, and the status updates once approved.

Quick Meeting | Send Meeting Minutes as a DingTalk Doc

During Quick Meetings, Meeting Minutes can be saved as a DingTalk Doc in one click and sent to others or to a group chat for efficient sharing. 💡 Available on: Desktop

How to use: In the Meeting Minutes area, click the airplane icon, choose Send as DingTalk Doc, select recipients, and the chosen recipients will receive the Meeting Minutes in DingTalk Docs format.

Quick Meeting | View Online documents with synced Quick Share, Outline, and Inline comments

When viewing an Online document in a Quick Meeting, the Quick Share status syncs automatically, and the document Outline and Inline comments are displayed to provide a complete view of the document’s structure and information. 💡 Available on: Desktop How to use: Open a document in a Quick Meeting to display its Outline and Comments.

DingTalk Mind | Pan the canvas with “Space + Left click”

DingTalk Mind now supports panning the canvas by dragging, making it easier and more flexible to view and edit Mind Maps. 💡 Available on: Desktop and Mobile How to use: Hold the Space key and drag with the left mouse button anywhere on the canvas.

DingTalk Drive | Back up “Files” in chat windows to the Knowledge Base

Files in chat windows can now be saved to the DingTalk Docs Knowledge Base in one click, making file storage and management more convenient. 💡 Available on: All four platforms How to use: Upload File in chat, click “Save to”, and choose Knowledge Base.

DingTalk Project | DingTalk Project Cool App now available

The DingTalk Project Cool App is officially live. Cool Apps are a new type of scenario-based App that integrates App features with various product scenarios in DingTalk, delivering an immersive, scenario-based collaboration experience. Once enabled, the App lets you use the core features of DingTalk Project with lower learning curves, greatly improving the collaboration experience. 💡 Available on: Desktop

How to use: In the toolbar of an Internal Group, click “More” > “App Center” > “Enable” to turn on the DingTalk Project Cool App for that group.

DingTalk Project | “Project Assistant” onboarding cards now available

To help new users get started with DingTalk Project quickly, we’ve launched onboarding cards in DingTalk. After the Admin initializes DingTalk Project, Organization users will receive guidance cards from the “Project Assistant” at different times. Through the landing pages or Action buttons on these cards, users can quickly learn about the core capabilities and use cases of DingTalk Project, lowering the learning cost. 💡 Available on: Desktop

DingTalk Project | Align start and end times for parent and child tasks

DingTalk Project now supports aligning the start and end times of parent and child tasks upward or downward based on alignment rules, meeting more complex project management requirements for task time constraints. This adapts to more business scenarios. 💡 Available on: All four platforms

How to use: Project Admins can click “Menu” > “More Settings” > “Project Feature Switches” > “Parent-Child Task Alignment” to enable this feature for the project.

DingTalk Project | Work Hour Calendar excludes tasks in the Recycle Bin by default

DingTalk Project has added an “In Recycle Bin” filter to the default filters on the Work Hour Calendar, set to “No” by default. Tasks moved to the Recycle Bin are no longer included in statistics, making data more accurate. 💡 Available on: All four platforms

How to use: Open the Work Hours App > Filter > In Recycle Bin.

DingTalk Project | Improved work hour viewing and export

When viewing a date range in the Work Hour Calendar, if the range exceeds the threshold, DingTalk Project now guides users to export the data. The export Component also includes additional Filters, supporting export by Custom Fields (such as Task ID, Users, etc.), improving the user experience while offering more dimensions of data. 💡 Available on: All four platforms

DingTalk Project | Improved work hour entry

On the work hour entry page in the Work Hours App, a “Show only tasks related to me” option has been added when selecting tasks. DingTalk Project | “Dashboard” now supports single-project statistics

The “Statistics” feature in DingTalk Project now supports single-project statistics. In Chart Settings, you can fully display Field content (datasets, dimensions, metrics, Filters), supporting scenarios where you need to analyze single-project data in the “Organization Statistics” module, or analyze reports from different projects together. 💡 Available on: All four platforms How to use: Open the Statistics App > Create Analysis Report > Select the project to analyze.
